Sales is the last function still organized by hire-and-pray. We're rewiring it.
MillionReps is a marketplace where startups list offers and skilled operators sell them on commission. No quotas. No employment contracts. The only contract is the one between a closed deal and a paid invoice.
Why we built this.
Two of us spent years inside Series A and B startups watching the same thing happen: founders raise enough to hire two AEs, spend $400k in their first year before either ramps, and discover that one couldn't sell their product. The other quit.
The math of building a sales team out of full-time hires only works when you already know what to sell, to whom, and how. Most startups don't. They're paying senior salaries for a job that's actually distribution research.
So we built that. A bench of skilled operators who pick what they sell. A platform that handles attribution, payouts, and disputes. A network that reps can strengthen by inviting people they trust. And a flat fee that comes out of the rep's commission — not a tax we add to your bill.
MillionReps is in early access. The first startups and reps are joining now. If you're here early, you're part of building what this becomes — the terms, the norms, and the culture of how commission sales should work.
How we make decisions.
Reps and startups see the same ledger.
If we know it, you know it. The dashboard you see is the data we use to pay you. There is no second set of books, no opaque "platform metrics," and no commission reconciliation that happens off-screen.
Pay only on closed-and-collected.
Signed-but-unpaid is not a deal. We've seen the unwinds. Both reps and startups deserve a definition of "won" that doesn't reverse three months later in a refund email.
The split is simple and visible.
Reps earn 70% of collected success fees, and MillionReps keeps 30%. The startup pays only the commission rate it agreed to, and everyone can see the same ledger.
Attribution is data, not opinion.
Tracked links, call logs, calendar threads. When two parties claim a deal, we read the timeline. We've never resolved a dispute by negotiation — only by chronology.
No quotas, no PIPs, ever.
You're a contractor with a marketplace, not an employee with a number. If a rep stops selling, they earn nothing. That's the entire enforcement mechanism.
Build relationships, not hierarchies.
Reps can invite capable people and help them get started. The goal is a stronger network with more expertise and opportunity, while earnings stay tied to each rep's own closed-and-collected work.
The story so far.
Started out of frustration.
MillionReps was built by people who have seen the AE hiring cycle fail firsthand — too much cost, too little signal, too long to ramp.
Early access. First startups and reps joining.
We're onboarding the first wave of B2B startups and commission reps. The marketplace is live and the first offers are listed.
Growing the network.
More startups, more reps, more categories. If you're reading this, you're early — and founding members shape how this works.
Two doors. One outcome — paid only when revenue lands.
Whether you sell or get sold for, the deal is the same.
